Thank you for the thorough feedback, I really appreciate you trying out my game. I found your VOD on youtube and when I have time I'll watch the whole thing and take detailed notes! I'll definitely have to work on making the input with items feel better and more intuitive.

Yeah you can pick up and move towers or any structures when you aren't in combat, that won't destroy them. You could decide to use a tower as your new main weapon or vice versa. I'll also look into the bugs you found, thanks for calling that out.

Also its really awesome that you take the time to play everyone's game, I'm sure all the developers appreciate it a lot!

I realized the VOD in question went up early (it was supposed to be set to private and then be put up probably around Monday). That said, I've been playing the game a lot more.

One thing I'm realizing is that the difficulty spike shoots up tremendously. If this is how hard it's supposed to get for what's level 1, I shudder to imagine what it'll be like at higher levels. There may need to be a lot of tuning done to the difficulty.

So I've played this a lot more, even getting my level 1 clear thanks to the coins to crit chance relic, and I think I've found a couple of bugs.

First, the Armlet of the Forgotten Soldier can be broken by spamming an arrow key in one direction. This results in the player dropping a coin every time they let go of the key. As such, I'm able to rack up 500 or more each new area by chilling in my base and spam walking, then occasionally running loops around when there's a lot of drops waiting for me.

Because of this, I've gotten my hands on a LOT of towers. More than I ever expect I'll have again. However, a consequence of this when the merchant sells me towers, they claim to be max level but don't have max level damage nor show max level (they'll only list level 1 or 2).

This bug also works with the +1 Health Globe from the Stillness Mask, which in turn can break things like the Heart Striker tower, the Blood Tentacle relic, and the Bloodrush Idol relic (which then furthers on to break anything that gains from move speed). I have a Heart Striker tower with 1931 damage and I have 767% move speed; it's so fast that I can run around the entire field in less than three seconds. It's also so fast that it becomes very hard to control, leading me to focus on getting picks to remove obstacles and to design my base to make moving around easy.

I just... I need you to see what I've done to your game. For the record, I've done four towers so far and am close to doing a fifth. I'm only using three towers and no walls. Nothing reaches me. Anything projectiles that hit me do 1 damage. I'm making something like 10 gold a second. I don't even anything (which is good because I can't do precise movement anymore. Touching an arrow key for a split second sends me a quarter across my screen). Everything dies instantly, including bosses. I have broken this game in such a horrible way. XD

Here's a screenshot showing the insanity, for context. I even did an extra round after completing all three towers.

Adding another follow-up over something I didn't mention despite seeing it from the beginning but as I've played more it's really boned me.

This appears to be a bug when you create a wall that runs vertically where if you are in the centre of two walls or rocks, you can't leap over them with dash. The game requires you to be more focused on one block or another. On at least a dozen occasions now, I've gotten hit because the game wouldn't leap me due to this. D:

Edit: Found another bug. So when you unlock a tower's fated jewel socket, you can move the gem. This may be intended, but what I guarantee is NOT intended is that if you move it to your inventory, you duplicate it. You can then sell it or just spread certain gems to every tower. Duplicating gems like this and inserting them back into the tower you duped them from also causes weird effects, such as putting gems into other towers in slots that are still locked.

Thanks for sharing your VOD! I got a lot of valuable notes from it and have logged all the bugs you found, especially the issue with the Armlet of the Forgotten Soldier, it was also really entertaining watching you. I’m working on an update to address these issues, though it might take a few updates to cover all your feedback lol. I really appreciate the time you’ve spent digging into the game, I think you’ve explored it more deeply than any playtester so far!

To be fair, this often happens in every FQ event; I find a game I really like that has massive replayability and play it a ton on my own. Usually this results in me breaking the game a lot.

Some other things I've noticed (but aren't in any of the myriad comments I've left thus far, some of which reply to my own so be sure to check them all) are...

1. You can't drop the scroll that gives you the fated jewel slot but you also can't sell it. So if you're in a position where you don't want to use the scroll but accidentally pick it up, you lose an inventory slot.

2. Towers can break and stop working in certain conditions. In my last run (where I did four boss towers and was only using three towers and a one weapon by the end because of how OP I made myself), neither the weapon or one of the towers would fire properly. The weapon never fired at all (even though I know it's supposed to as long as you've selected it) unless I clicked, while the one tower would only fire occasionally. For context, my other two towers were firing constantly and all three had massive range. Also, once range got to a certain size it seemed to just break.

Another weird bug I found. Tried to use the Volatile Mask, which is supposed to start the player with a Mine. Instead, I was given a Jewel.
