This is mainly about the mansion room events: most of them seem to very long and story oriented, and deeply personal information about the desires, which seem odd for them to repeat so many times, especially at random points (like I've heard Oliver say how he used to be alone at least 10 times already :P haha). Would it work to make these long and "personal information" events triggerable only once and instead replace them with short, common phrase, interactions instead? Like desires saying come visit me if their happiness is going down, or good morning, or stuff like my butt still hurts from a desire they fought (:P)? And just other common house talk like all the towels have been used, or what's for dinner, etc?

or I think even better would be making a mix by populating the mansion’s first floor with more desires in designated rooms who would say random things when talked to (the same stuff i mentioned in the above comment, like good morning, what theyre doing, how theyre feeling, etc), in addition to truly random events which can be like the random house events triggerable currently but instead like someone comes bumping into you, or someone running and yelling at someone else because they stole their clothes, or you stumble across someone doing something like sleeping, etc? I kinda like this way because then the idea of the desires becoming friends could also be shown as what they say changes as affection and relationships with others, messages like, I never realised ____ was into cooking too! He/she has been teaching me a lot, etc etc. Also maybe it can change for different times of the day, like which desires are out, what they say, etc!

You could also do stuff with desires that are shy or lonely like oliver, and building their relationship makes them come out of the room and maybe make friends?

Hmmm i like he idea of the desires coming out of their room and walking around. I've been meaning to implement something like that too already.
However triggering a dialogue with a desire that will change depending on where they are could be very tricky. I don't think I'm able to do that with my current knowledge yet... 
But the idea with the shy desires sounds sweet, I really like that one.
About the random room events, I'll try to come up with something.

ah what i meant by a dialogue about what room they are in was more about the desires would permanently be in a certain room or even a certain place, and their dialogue would be about that room, like "Im just making dinner for everyone" if they're standing in front of an oven as an example. And the dialogue would be randomised from a pool of dialogues, some of which may be in reference to the room they are in (and the desire would always spawn in that room)

cool I was just wondering :) I thought having the option of talking to the desires instead of being forced into it with random events would be better, because the random events get tedious when you're trying to do stuff like increase your pets happiness and have to run back and forth to the bedroom to sleep haha! I definitely think there are some events that definitely work as random events though, and having a mix would be really cool!

Yeah, I really understand that it can get annoying. So far, the only way to stop that is the command I've put in the cheats menu that prevents these events from happening, but this isn't the best solution yet. Maybe I'll be putting the personal events into the characters' romancing route, I think that would make the most sense.

ya that would actually be pretty cool, and feel like you've worked to get that information as a sign of your relationship deepening or something.
