I really like this game; it’s got a simple loop and feels satisfying to play. Sadly, it definitely needs a bit more polishing. I would love to see the post-jam version!

such a cute concept I would imagine this would be pretty fun with alot more depth, but atm its pretty repetitive and im personally not a fan of the controls... doesnt help that the instructions were buried under a mountain of texts.

The tutorial is on the way, dont'worry :)

Cute game! Very creative, even though it doesn't have much depth to it, I still liked it.

Developer

I'll polish this up after the game jam is done :)

Nice little game, I love the idea because I haven’t seen it elsewhere yet! Although I would have wished that there would be a tutorial, I didn’t get it without reading the controls. After that it was pretty fun, but sometimes it seemed that I got it right but it still gave me an error. Anyways, good job on this submission!

If you find the time to play our game too, I would appreciate it!

Good game! Took me only one time failing the first flower to get that I had to rotate lol, should've been obvious from the controls but oh well.

Thanks for the feedback! Once the game jam is over, I'll add a tutorial and some polish.

Simple game, engaging once I figured out the controls. Nice color palette and music. I took me a little bit to realize the images on the flower stand were not part of the client order, but then I realized I could rotate it, and noticed the customers had rotated sprites above their heads lol but regardless, fun idea and good job.

Pretty neat little game. I loved the art and the music, and it’s a very creative concept.

I think small small UX details would help it a lot. I purposefully launch games without looking too much at its description, other than controls. Consider things like:

  • Adding indicators to the customer requests and shop inventory to reinforce where to look and when. It wasn’t immediately clear what my goal was.
  • Small numbers under the shop inventory would be nice, but not a big deal
  • Icons or something to indicate that you should be rotating when you bring up a flower

These are minor details, but help bring a game together. Really nice work.

Really loved the art and music in this, and i think the gameplay is pretty engaging too! Controls were simple but effective. Would love a way to replay the game after it finishes without reloading the page. Cute game great job!

My bad, sorry! I'll update it after the game jam ends. Thanks for the feedback!

Beautiful game, I love the music. The colours are very nostalgic.

I chose the Game Boy color palette first because, well, why not?

I think this game could benefit heavily from some UX additions. For instance, a replay button would be nice (especially since this game is all about getting a high score). I also think this game has a lot of potential for fast-paced, high-octane gameplay, given that there's a time limit and you're trying to get a high score. Like you could maximize your score by doing inputs as fast as possible, maybe more than just rotating and picking the right number. Probably not the vibe y'all were going for, but food for thought. The game was fun, but it just needs a bit more complexity and the UX stuff.  Also, since we're in space, I wish you had made the darker color the dominant one at least for the sky. The lore is also a nice touch :).

Thank you for your suggestion. The intergalactic flower business was the first thing that came to mind at the time. I joined the jam a little late, so much of the polish will be added after the jam concludes. Thank you again for your feedback.
