Was so fun! Loved the characterisation of Smirk - showed a lot of emotion in his responses 😅
Managed to make it to the end after several attempts! Game definitely ramps up in difficulty, especially since in later levels, you have to work out what to actually do, while the timer is still going. I usually found that past the 4th stage, I always had to play through twice to get through to the next stage.
To be honest though finding the star key was probably the hardest stage of all 😂
Art and sound is so good! Very SBIG but also just quite aesthetically pleasing! Lovely direction overall!

This was really neat, all the little minigames and the art and sound came together very nicely!
I really liked the changing face of Smirk, especially Gigachad Smirk.
I admit I was cautiously expecting a scream game with the dragging the star through the maze. My 2000's flash game brain kicking in I guess lol.
But this was fun, and while the switch to the timer counting down across levels screwed me up the first time it was an interesting twist once I realized what was happening.
Overall, great work!
Smirk s sprites were really fun to make I am glad peoples like them! I hope you got some of the references hidden ! (Not gonna play with the ptsd from 2000's flash game...(that s could have een fun too!))

I just didn't understand how timer works, because it sometimes resets, sometimes continues. Does it scale with each game?

Yeah the timer is meant to be kind of confusing! Thank you for your comment I hope you understand it better after finding there is an end to the game!
This was a very fun game. Some games took a second to figure out but I was never really lost and actually made it to the end.
I was very surprised that there even was an end to be honest, I expected it to just go on forever while getting progressively harder until you can't do the minigames anymore.
Overall a very fun little game with extremely good music. Maybe even too good for this Jam.
