I'm glad you had fun playing the game.

I'm not the biggest expert when it comes to game genres myself but what you're thinking of is a roguelite. That's where you keep some stuff between runs, while a rogulike completely resets your progress.

The idea behind the bomber and stone golem was that they throw their projectiles exactly the same every time, so their placement on the tower matters. And if you misplace them then they can hit your tower. I guess that didn't really come across very well though 😅

Your struggles against the big guy highlights my biggest issue: I absolutely suck at balancing my games 😅 That's totally on me and definitely something to keep in mind for reworks.

Thank you for the input and I will definitely keep that in mind if I ever decide to work on the game again.

This was definitely an experience

Funny dialogue and interesting concept with the minigames for the fights. Also the switchup in the minigames was quite surprising.

The game has potential, it's just missing sound and a couple more minigames but you seem to know that already.

Still not a bad entry though and i had some fun with it.

The way it went from angry birds to rage game was really cool to see. Loved the concept, loved the art, loved the music at first and then learned to hate it because i kept dying to those falling spikes and had to listen to this one song again and again.

Really fun entry, good humour, Jeremy, cute collectables, it just has it all.

The only things i could criticise would be that I missed some dialogue because the button that continues the dialogue is the jump button in a game about jumping and the fact that I'm really bad at Platformers and therefore won't play it again to experience all endings unfortunately (I guess that's on me).

I had lot's of fun playing this game and it is a great addition to the Jam.

Thanks a lot for playing my game and I'm glad you had fun with it .

There is definitely room to Expand in terms of enemies, items and defences.  I plan to expand my game, every time I submit one to this Jam but I never actually did so far. Maybe I'm motivated enough to keep working on it this time.

The Idea is pretty good, having to figure out the controls and what everything does as a puzzle and then using that to solve the platformer.  Some more levels expanding that idea would've been great, especially a little longer levels that are a little harder to beat.

The last level felt pretty confusing and out of place to me though.

Great idea that's missing some more levels.

I expected some kind of shop game at first but it was more of a crossing the road simulator.  It took me 4 days to get to the other side once which really annoyed me at first. The first day to figure out that cars could kill me, the second day because I missed a car and on the third day I wanted to look around a bit and got fined for jaywalking.
Only getting three crates for this entire Journey was really frustrating.

Expanding on the shop side of this game could improve it a lot in my opinion. Getting more items to sell from the warehouse or maybe going there to place an order or something would be some ideas. Then you could spend more time in the shop stocking the shelves.

The walking animation is funny and the radio music was surprisingly not annoying and actually fun to listen to.

This was a very fun game. Some games took a second to figure out but I was never really lost and actually made it to the end.
I was very surprised that there even was an end to be honest, I expected it to just go on forever while getting progressively harder until you can't do the minigames anymore.

Overall a very fun little game with extremely good music. Maybe even too good for this Jam.

As somebody who knows nothing about dressage I can confidently say that this has to be the best, most accurate and only dressage simulator I've ever played!
It's a fun game and I like the stupidity of it all a lot. Great entry for this Jam.

thank you for your comment

Your first sentence summs up my game pretty well.

Your suggestions to balance the orange guys sounds pretty good and I will probably use it as a base for reworking them if I decide/ get the time to do it.

Thank you for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback and yes the void was the inspiration for the boss design. Or I should rather say I put the r/place void in paint and did my best to draw over it.

Thanks

Thank you for your feedback.

The orange suggestion-ers where supposed to bring some Chaos into the game but I ended up having some time problems and they ended up being way too unbalanced and I used the ideas that were quick to implement and didn't manage to balance them right/ implement some things that would've taken more time.

You are definitely not supposed to hit the boss while hiding. I wasn't aware of this, you are the first one to figure this out.

As of right now I probably want to fix the balancing issues and maybe the boss bug (if I think it makes the fight too easy) after the voting period but that really depends on my motivation to keep working on this.

Thank you for your feedback.

To clear up the boss fight Thing, the boss has an Attack where you get gravity (idk how I should word that) and spike balls fall from the top. I think that that's the glitch you were talking about and that is intended but to be honest it's just not explained very well. The gravity should end after the last ball dropped and you should get your normal controls back.

I think the RNG problem comes mostly from the orange guys. I was hoping they would bring a bit of chaos into the game but their suggestions are too much and because of some bad time management and over scoping on my part cheaply implemented. Maybe I'll balance everything out after the voting period ended if I still have the motivation to do so.

The orange button is placed like this to force a face to face interaction with the tortoise. I'm sorry to hear that the buttons are too hard to find, maybe I'll do something to make it a bit easier when I'm bored and  have some free time.

Wasn't expecting that to happen.

The space rocks really were inconvenient. Great (and funny) music and actually multiplayer. I can't wait to play this with a friend.

So weird and cool. I love it. my high score was 24.

Cool voice acting. love the game.

I never thought someone would go that far :)

Nice concept. needs more types of enemys.

cool game.

I really enjoyed the full no sound experience. The really nice on point and realistic physics of this game are very impressive and the levels are definetly not hard and it didn't take me 30 mins to complete lvl 2. I love the realistic assets and the beautiful glitching ground textures. The options menu is very great designed. Overall 10/10 would recommend to anyone, especially if you like realistic racing games. :)

Nice Game

This is such a cool game.
