Cool idea! I encountered zero bugs (unless no ending dialogue in the grand championship was a bug and not just empty due to lack of time), however I think gameplay itself is off, I really like the concept of musical chairs as the theme, very clever idea but the AI and setup of going around the ring just don't really feel that interesting, the AI knows perfectly when the music stops (from what I can tell) so your startoffs always feel worse then the rest and going around the ring was just not that interesting, I feel as though I could've just let myself be pushed and nothing would have changed, items don't really solve this at the moment, I think a whole new system would be needed to spice up the ring period. (maybe making it a rhythm game where you can only move along with the beat)? (that's a very random idea but just thought it sounded cool)
I think dialogue boxes could've used two inputs instead of one to skip them, the first to show the entire message to prevent having to wait for the whole message to be wrote out and then the second to move on.
Obviously the art is very very nice! However seems like a strange decision to make the sushi have happy faces, it makes them look cute and hence it becomes more disturbing when they are sent to their demise but I feel like it'd make more sense for them to be a bit more sad or scared looking. Still though really love all the sushi designs and the designs of characters that are on the plates surrounding the ring!
Music is great so really good job on that however I do feel as though it's not quite fitting, at least the pacing of it doesn't but the instruments are fine, it always felt like it was going for a beat drop that you'd never hear due to the pacing of the game and it felt quite unsatisfying due to that, I feel as though a more constant not as interesting piece but with a constant drive would work better, I think the grand championship had the best music in this regard, (also they didn't seem to loop seamlessly that well either), but all that said very good music still, unique sounding and good!
Really cool idea for a game, I'd like to see this expanded on!
