How does your game fit the theme?
The snake in the game is based on the ouroboro snake/dragon that is a symbol for an infinite loop. The gameplay reflects this because of the main mechanic that you need to bite in your own tail. The theme loop can also be found in the games round system because you have to constantly do the same thing over and over again only changed by cards that you pick each round.

The cards really do add a lot of variety, and I get to choose the variety (risk and reward). That's pretty cool! Thanks for also including a tutorial.

Very creative, interesting combination of mechanics. Is the scoring inspireed by Balatro? If I were to name one thing worth improving I would say the pacing. It feels too slow for an action game, but it is alse definitely not a puzzle.
Very curious what was it made with, is it made from scratch in C++?

Yeah the scoring is definitly inspired by Balatro, we thought it was an interesting idea to combine balatro-esque point system with  something like an action game.  I totally agree on the pacing its definitly the biggest problem we noticed during playtesting, if we update the game, finding a way to make early game more interesting is definitly one of the most important things.
Also the game is made in Gamemaker, making a full game in 4 days in c++ is way beyond my programming skills ( :

Good take on the theme! It was fun trying to master the skill of making an accurate loop with the snake.

It's pretty fun after collecting some cards

Me when choosing "ink blot": ezpz

Me when an ink blot appears: JESUS omg

This is really unique and fun! The tutorial was cute. I like that your past loops linger on the screen, nice touch. The level up cards add a lot of variety and replay value. The movement felt fluid, and the art is nice too.

Really creative idea, liked the art. Got pretty tricky once I started getting a lot of cards, cool game.

Was fun when finally understanding the requirement of the mechanic. would've loved to have some sort of in game instructions.

The tutorial tries to teach most of the systems but if we can update the game again we can try to explain the system around looping and points a bit more. Thanks for the feedback!
