I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with Mark that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.
When I realized the blue number was a countdown, the gameplay instantly clicked for me. (Maybe adding a small clock icon next to it could make it clearer for players who skip the tutorial like I did.)
Loved the art and music! It is awesome to finish a card game with such a cool art style
我勒个大雷,这个游戏的风格太棒了吧???!!太神圣了...(下跪)
amazing artwork and vibes, I like the strategic element
Really love the music and this cool art style!
Didn't really understand the game, but the art was pretty cool.
The art style is SICK!!!
I really love your game's overall concept and art style! One thing I couldn't figure out though—identical-looking cards seem to grant bonus points, but the exact scoring calculation isn't clear to me. Because of this, I couldn’t predict how many points my plays would earn, so I had to take things one move at a time.
Thank you for playing! Our novice tutorial level interface really needs to be simpler and easier to understand! Thank you for your feedback
I’m honestly amazed you pulled off such a cool card game in such a short time! The cards look great, and the music matches the visuals perfectly. The screen was a little bit flashy for me, but overall I really enjoyed it. I’ve already told a few friends to check it out!
I like this concept. I never thought a loop could be associated with that! It's amazing, and the artwork is the best one I have seen in the jam.
Thank you for your support!
It's so easy for me because it seem just have one fixed logic, I alway can win if I follow this logic. The reason I guess is you "First Game's Loop"(it's a term, not related to theme) is very simple, so it make you game look like more boring. You need to pay attention to this if you want to make more game
Besides, I recommend you teach how to play when player playing rather than just post one page and write lot of word before start.
Anyway, I like your artstyle and this game as well:)
truely grateful you pointed out our shortcomings. we did notice this issue during the production process. the flaw in the mechanism resulted in a lack of flexibility and challenge.
and we did consider teaching players the gameplay through specific levels, but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to design and implement it properly...
If given the opportunity, we’ll try to adjust and add mechanics, making the numerical and level design more rigorous. Thank you for your feedback!
this was a very conceptually rich experience! I appreciate the various interpretations of the theme, such as the loops contained within seasons, cycles of life and spiritual purification. it is a beautiful game, and all the elements felt they worked together to create an impactful experience in synthesis. if your team felt like it, I would enjoy this as a fully-produced game! I myself greatly enjoy matching games such as mahjong, and this felt like a thoughtful and complex experience in a similar vein.
the available instructions gave me some difficulty, but I felt I had mostly grasped the rules after a few rounds nonetheless, having been familiar with similar styles of card game. as I'm sure this is something you're already aware of, I won't go on too long about it. I feel that despite the minimal instruction, the degree I was able to learn them while playing is also a commendable achievement in the design and visual communication.
overall, this is my favorite entry I have played so far from the jam, for its fun, cohesion and unique interpretation of the themes that speaks to me. I would really like to praise your team for all your excellent work! I'll be following you all to keep up with your future work :)
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're happy to know that someone enjoys our theme and atmosphere. it means that our visual design approach works ^^
Thanks for pointing out the lack of clarity in our instructions. if we continue development in the future, we’ll approach both mechanics and guidance with greater care.
Really unique way of taking inspiration from the theme! The psychidelic visuals are also really interesting - they pop in a striking, otherworldly way. I’m also impressed by the level of depth you guys managed to pack into a card game in such a short time.
Unfortunately I don’t think I grasped all the layers. The tutorial page at the start of the game is very dense and a little obtuse, and the busy visuals (while cool) make it hard to tell what’s going on. There are a lot of things happening at once, and because of that I never knew if I was doing the right thing or not, especially when it came to the card combos.
Overall, a fascinating entry!
Thank you for your time and for enjoying the game! We indeed didn’t have enough time to implement the visual effects which were designed for clearer cues. we apologize for any confusion. thanks for your feedback!! we’ll improve it if possible
The art can full show you want to show.Gameplay is good too.
I really enjoy the gameplay! The art is gorgeous, and the game's balance mechanism is also nice:D
Thank u!!
I LOVE the ART
