What about methods where you issue a transfer order directly to your bank? Like wire transfer and SEPA transfer?
I actually used to do that a long time ago but my bank started charging more for it so I stopped. it also became much less covenant as more security became involved.
It costs about $ 25 - $ 100 to send money to other countries.
