Nice little game! I thought I was all that after playing old man mode. Then I tried advanced and I really did feel like an old man. I love a nice little Pico-8 game. Well done!
That's ok, some playtesters couldn't even pass old man mode haha

We thought of publishing the repo but it's jam code so it's umm... far from pretty or efficient haha
Yay, I finally beat advanced mode! A difficult but fun memory game. I love the setting, I think you made the minimal graphic style work well. I would just add some medium difficulty to ease the player into advanced mode. E.g. you could make a shorter advanced level with only 10 objects or so. Good job!

We made the game in a local 36 hours window of the jam, so there wasn't much time to add another game mode (we added easy mode when we had about an hour left as a half joke)
Also the graphics are this way because it was made with pico8, so there are many limitations (but that's the fun in it, at least for me)
I managed to get to 16 points on Advanced mode.
I really liked this game! I do agree that it’s a bit on the harder side, maybe a little too much so. I had an issue when trying to select Advanced mode. It kept selecting Easy mode for some reason. I eventually got it to work, but I’m not sure if it was a bug or just me being dumb.
Anyway, great work!

advanced mode had me locking in. Anyone beat my score of 14? :) Very tough game but had me retrying over and over. Kind of wish there was a better indication that an attack was going up and down. It is hard to anticipate.
