This was a very cute and fun game I like this idea of looping and having to use the looping to remember where stuff is so you go faster each loop!

Thank you so much and Yeah I was really tempted to try adding a crap ton of modifiers cause they would make it so much more interesting! But I had to resist the urge to ensure I was able to finish the game! Also a page that tells you how the hero will react to each of your moves so you could strategize better would really help to the feeling of control
Yeah I kinda ended up going with the first probabilities I came up with and didn’t get a chance to refine them so it ended up being a bit less predictable than it probably should’ve been. Also I agree with the t thing which kinda makes me sad cause every other letter looked so cool and then the t was just bad ):
Also thank you for the compliment on the music it was the first time I was able to get music specifically for my game and have it played by and actually musician! It was a really fun time!
Yeah I completely agree, I really liked the font for almost every letter, except the t looked like a z so I exchanged it for the 7 and that just didn’t work out): I should have just swapped it when I realized that the t wasn’t good cause t is a very common letter! But thank you for your comment and your advice!
A fun narrative game with some good variance in the dialogue to keep things fresh. The art style feels nostalgic in the best way possible, and I liked the hand drawn feel to the entirety of the game. It was a fun twist after day one to start being able to change the loop and make it so that she liked more topics over time, and getting to hear Melodie's changed perspective on certain topics. Creative game, didn't fully get to the end of it but did enjoy my time with it so far.
I enjoyed this rhythm game a lot! I think having an inner and outer loop led to a lot of interesting variation in setup for each round, and I enjoyed the challenge it presented. The artwork was charming, and I appreciate that the story was very silly. Made it to day 5 and may attempt to get further again soon.
This game has a lot more depth to it's strategy then I initially thought, on my first run I just interacted with every object and ended up dying in round 4. Then I realized that part of the strategy was deciding when to take a detour to get stuff and when to just rush to the next platform. Once I realized that I had quite a bit of fun playing and was able to beat the game. Great job on this game!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write all this advice for me! You are completely right in saying I should take into account the instruments when implementing them because I was just switching around which instrument did what without putting in thought on how the instruments are supposed to be used, I’ll definitely try to think more about that on my future projects! Ill also be checking out the circle of fifths thing, I took absolutely no offense to anything you said I joined this game jam with the hopes of getting better at music for the games I make so getting such constructive criticism is exactly what I wanted. Once again I truly appreciate you taking the time for this well thought out comment, thank you!!!!
