This made a lot of good use of the RPG Maker format! It's a good medium thanks to the way that such ambient scenes can be laid out and used - and it helps the writing shine front and center. Kagerou + Wakasagihime is a good choice, as it takes a popular idea into a lot of wholesome detail. Combined with the well-fitting music and cute artwork throughout, it all made for a really wholesome slice-of-life story. Excellent work!

A little late comment, but I absolutely love the story. There are a few mistakes here and there, but it’s very… not sure how to express this, unique? atmospheric?

The (what I’m pretty sure) retrospections with the spirit blobs where the story gets a bit more poetic are really a great addition. And the ending illustration is super duper cute@@!!!

The Sekibanki seemed a little thrown in there out of the blue, but I enjoyed the it nonetheless.

You’ve also made me fall in love with a ship that I’ve never thought of before.

Incredible use of RPGMaker to make something that plays more like a movie. And the writing is top notch heartwarming. Well done.

I dig the slice of life energy. Never would've considered using RPGMaker as a VN engine but the dynamic storytelling here really opened my eyes.

I'm glad you liked it! I'm a sucker for slice of life vibes hahaha so I didn't imagine it gave this energy, Jengey and I worked in order to tied the past and present scenes together :D

Absolutely masterful use of a CG

Thanks!! The credits go to Neoo, or Little_H, he does the most beautiful and Fluffy illustrations n.n

This one is really creative. The framing, the lake's perspective, I initially questioned using RPGMaker and just making a series of cutscenes but having thought about it, it's a neat take on a Visual Novel

It was a gut decision made on the spot while playing with RPG Maker on the first night of the jam; Whether or not should I have made the game  n.n'. I don't know how to use Renpy properly but the assets and the idea really seemed feasible to do in RPG maker XD

Loving how in the past the youkai are shown as spirits, really interesting that's how the Lake sees them.

Thank you so much, and thank you for commenting on all the other games as well n.n

I like how the past is represented as the yokai being their basic spirits, a really cool touch.

Sorry for the late replay, I've been very busy :*) but thank you so much. It was an idea born out of limitations but I it was sort of what kicked the concept of the lake perspective :3
