Use of the limitation
If you score points the game gets harder. If any of your drones propellors are damaged it causes loss of control, you can try correct it with a code but it can make things worse

Very interesting, some instructions would be nice, especially regarding the keyboard element and how it works. I was super confused until I paid more attention to the intro cutscene, which is surprisingly nice graphically. I think the idea that touching a propeller on the side of a 'ring' can disable them, and that messes with your movement is cool. Kind of reminds me of a game called ragdoll avalanche 3 in that sense.
I saw the info about the keyboard, and was able to use it successfully once anyway, which was very helpful for that run. I imagine if you know the keyboard controls well, you can do a lot with them.
The in-game joystick was cool in that you can get some fine movement control from it, at least in theory. It's something you have to focus on though, at least if you're using a mouse.
Visually, a small touch of angle on the rings might have been good to help readability and help show where the edges are. It certainly adds cost to losing lives, mechanically it's a bit rough because of the negative snowball effect though the keyboard system is at least capable of countering that to some extent though.
It took me some time to figure out how the controlls work... The name is really fitting. Nice game! Good job!
This was a nice game, and the smoke effect was a nice touch. I think some more instructions explaining how it works would have helped me understand it quicker
The controls are very hard for my small brain but I like the art!
Thanks for your feedback!
Good game overall. The control is pretty hard tho, but i think that's the challenge. it just lack of juicy-ness. btw i don't know how to score hahaha... how to ?
Even though it is simple, i realy like this game (kinda addicting). Personaly the controls actually felt pretty smooth and the way you used the limitation is pretty creative. The only improvments I would suggest are making the hoop visuals a little more clear (i couldnt realy tell where the edges were) and making the purpose of the code this more apparent but overall this is pretty fun. Well done :)
The controls are a bit clunky and the game is a bit confusing. Though, I like the visuals and the concept seems nice! Good work!
Glad you liked the visuals and concept. I really appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts. When you say the game is confusing, could you let me know what specifically threw you off? For example, was the damage/loss-of-control mechanic unclear? I'm definitely open to improving the feel and clarity.
One thing I can think of that I haven't explained is that If you don't change the code and propellers break your drone will travel in the direction of the broken propellers. Using a different code helps stabilize by changing your x and y direction to either -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 pixels every tick so this why there are 5*5= 25 combinations.
I like this game a lot!! The controls are a bit clunky for me, but they work! A challenging limitation that I haven't seeen anymore. Good job!
Thanks so much! I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the game. I’ll keep looking for ways to make the controls feel a bit smoother before damage occurs. Really appreciate the kind words and your feedback!
The use of limitation is good, everything has an impact on screen and in the gameplay.
Too bad there are no keyboard controls.
Thank you! That kind of feedback means a lot. As for the keyboard controls — that’s a great point, and it’s something I’ll definitely consider adding in a future update. Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!
