Wow! I can't believe you guys managed to just do DLC Quest in three days! (and with a better art style!)
The level of polish is fantastic. I'm a really big fan of the overall vibe, the sounds, the music, the very low resolution look. Nothing feels unintentional, or like you didn't have time to finish it (except maybe the princess). Absolutely fantastic little platformer, especially for a jam game. I am blown away.

Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it! I started late on the jam, and it really took me about four days (late submission), but I'm really happy with what I managed to create :3

Cool little platformer and it didn't ask for real life money, only money in the game which was plentiful.  Nice animations and music, hope to see this continued!

Great use of the limitation, we took the same route lol. The eye upgrade was an idea i had as well but time got me. Great game the music and simple graphic really sell it.

Cool game with nice little twists. I enjoyed playing it :D

This was a really cool concept, I remember playing a flash game with a similar concept way back in the day and I would love to see this worked on more!

Art is stunning and i really like the concept! Great use of limitation - simple and straightforward! Good job!

This one is great!! Love it when you can unlock all feature by buying things.

Pretty fun game, like a little metroidvania where even the most basic actions need to be found. I really really love the art, it's so simple yet so effective. Even if it is made in Gamemaker, I can FEEL that you have a background with PICO8 (and a quick look at your other games confirmed my feeling). I'm sorry that you burnt out, but I will be glad to play at longer, complete version of it. Great work!

Very fun little game, loved the art and controls felt really good.

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THAT LAST SECRET UPGRADE IS!

Stay tuned :3

Cliffhanger... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Presentation is great - art, sound, feel. A bit short almost seemed like there was more intended to be added. The limitation was interesting. Soundtrack is like something taken out of RuneScape - so good.

Developer(+1)

There's definitely more that I want to add!

The presentation for this game is perfect, with amazing pixelart and adventure-ey music. The controls were snappy and the concept of your buttons coming at a cost was creative!

really cool game even if it did burn you out ;^P super stylized, love the art; the game loop reminds me of a game called johnny upgrade and was fun to explore + upgrade

it would be awesome to see more ;O

This really surpassed my expectations!! It reminds me of the indie game "Reventure" lol. The art style is pretty cool and I love how you have the buy mechanics of the game like movement and music. This is so far my favorite of the jam!! My only complaint is that it's not shown well when abilities and movement are locked, at first I thought there was a bug, so maybe a little sound effect to indicate it better would be nice.  Great job!!

Developer

That's good feedback, I considered adding some effects for that, but I never got around to it

Good! And job!

Honestly pretty cool game, sort of reminds of a metroidvania type game. I like the idea of buying more to the game and exploring, I think the art style could be improved a little and maybe an ending with the princess 馃槀 but otherwise good game!
