Very cute art and nice concept! I played without reading the send resources part but it went just fine even without it. I didn't feel much of a threat when a resource was full or empty, but it was also fun to try to ruin the alliance myself because I wanted to see the end of the game haha.
Thanks for playing! Yeah I definitely need to tune the consequences a bit to make it harder to keep the alliance topped up. Glad you enjoyed ruining your alliance!
Interesting, but quite repetitive after a while. Big fan of the music and art!
Loved the art and the ambiance of this game. A pretty goot use of the limitation. It's a really nice game. Good job!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Great use of the limitation! Best way I could describe the gameplay would be "Reigns, but double", which worked really well as a concept. I would've liked more consequence for the events, since I never felt like there was much risk for most of my choices, as long as I occasionally repaired my alliance strength. The event outcomes were also sometimes cut off with the "New Event" message, but I eventually got to see most of them.
Very cozy atmosphere, with the music and colours mixing nicely. Enjoyed the writing for the events as well (and will that merchant please stop coming back, they're not getting into the castle treasury a 5th time!).
Fun entry, nice work!
Thanks for the feedback! Reigns was actually a big inspiration when I was making this haha. I think I'll definitely need to balance the consequences a bit more and fix that problem showing the event outcomes. Thanks again and I'm glad you enjoyed the writing and everything!
And no get ready because that merchant's already planned at least another 5 trips to the castle today! >:)
Fun game! Love the art style and cozy vibe. A tutorial or drag-and-drop mechanic could make it even better. Great job!
Thanks for playing! I completely agree with you lol things to add.
The game looks quite stylish. All actions respond quite nicely. At first I didn't quite understand how everything should work, but when I figured it out, it became quite interesting.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm thinking of adding a tutorial to help with that initial understanding.
here from the community post, the game was pretty fun. i think it would have been a bit more interesting if you added even something like dots for soldiers or for other things to represent the "movement" of forces but overall it was pretty entertaining.
Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate you having a look at it.
no problem, it;s just give and take, i give you feedback and take some of yours in return for my game.
I honestly don't like games that don't have a ton of action, however this game was so fun! I played a game like this when I was younger and this brought me back. Great art style, great game!
Thanks for giving it a go! Glad you enjoyed it!
This is amazing! I could see myself playing this for hours. Art is great. Well done!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed playing!
It’s a really fun and cozy game.I can already imagine how great it’ll be once there are more events to explore. The one thing I feel could be improved is the way you give resources. Right now players just click buttons, switching to a richer drag and drop action, like dragging a villager or a coin over to the other kingdom, might make it even more engaging.
Thanks for the feedback! Funnily enough my original plan was to have some sort of dragging mechanic like that, but time constraints got in the way.
I liked it very much, I was so invested on the two kingdoms, I love the implementation of the limitation.
Happy to hear! I'm glad you liked it!
So cool! I love the artstyle btw! Love all the little details you put into this! Only thing I would add is some kind of win condition. Really enjoyed looking into all the dialog that you made!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
