This was pretty fun! I loved the mini cut scene that comes in for those final blows! I did have it glitch out on one of my plays; after placing a heavy and starting the first match, the final blow didn't trigger the cutscene and the character walked off to the right of the screen. Awesome graphics and audio otherwise. Thanks for making and sharing your game!

Nothing like a game that plays itself to ensure you will always win!  Good effort and fun to play, for sure! :D

Notes:

  •  I lost, got a game over, tried again and lost again before I could even set down anyone...  AND the game froze.

Yeah, we have a bug after the first game over that doesn't reset the state properly. :/

Feel and graphics are great, altough I only managed to go through first stage only once, other times it just bugged (yes my princess stayed on the field). Great entry!

The different animations based on who dealt the final blow are definitely the best part of the game but it's fun to play too, it was funny as I played the game thrice yet I had the most remaining characters at the end the first time when I hadn't really thought of a strategy, I must be a notably bad strategist.

Very cool take on an NES style auto-battler, the animations between battles are really clean also, very cool :) I could see this 100% being on the NES back in the day.

Jammin sound chiptunes also :)
