This might sound weird but I mean it in a positive way, the whole game feels like a creepypasta/cursed game exe collection of small stories that you would find in a very hidden, and old internet forum that is allegedly cursed and bad things happen if you play it. It also reminded me of an old tv show with short horror stories that were one weirder than the other but in a very creepy way.

This has been the scariest game I've played on this jam, I hated (in a good way) running around the mazes not knowing if there was a creature there with me or if it was just sound effects. Favorite one had to be the apple collecting one.

I think the only thing I missed was some sort of chapter selection so going back to repeat specific stories to try different options was easier/faster instead of having to rely only on the save files.

But overall a great game.

Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words DreamBones!

I'm really happy that the game managed to scare you hahaha. And I definitely was inspired by creepypastas and old horror stories tv shows.

I totally agree with your critique; relying on save files is really tedious (and, from what I've seen, a bit confusing). I definitely should have added a story selection screen, or a way to go back to a previous story without having to reset the game.

Again, thank you so much for playing and for the feedback! : D

THIS SCARED ME SO MUCH THAT I MIGHT HAVE PEED A LITTLE. I THINK MY FAVORITE STORY WAS THE ONE WHERE THINGS HAPPENED AND I GOT SCARED. WELL DONE. I HOPE YOU SEE THIS ONE DAY. I'M NOT YOUR BIGGEST FAN, I AM OF AVERAGE SIZE.

Great to have you back! Just to let you know, you can also submit this to this jam, it has the same theme: Themed Horror Game Jam

Thank you Beregon! : D I'm really glad to be able to participate in this jam again! I think I'd rather not submit it to the other jam since it's specified in-game that this one was made for this specific jam and not the other one (and that you and Broody host this one). And I don't think I can handle 2 jams at the same time, but I'm happy with this one! These are the jams were Alesa was born, after all, so they're very special!

Thanks you, good to have you back :-) Hope we get to see another Alesa game from you in the future, be it for the upcoming House of Remembrance jam or otherwise :-D

Just to make it clear, that second jam I linked is also ran by me, takes place at the same time as this one and has the same theme, so any game that qualifies for this jam also qualifies for that one. I encourage people to submit to that one too, in order to help RPG Maker Horror Games get a bit more attention in the broader indie horror game community. But I certainly understand if you want to just keep it in this one jam :-)
