I've not played many rhythm games, but I believe this is the standard bar for a rhythm game, I salute you. Also nice arcade concept.

P.S ,thanks for playing my game, I have uploaded a new build for my game minus the bugs and plus some new collectibles, pleas check it out.

Great voice acting! That added a lot of charm to the game. I also like that the notes are 3D instead of just being on a track. Unfortunately the music got out of sync with the notes later on, but it's still fun to play.

“ANDREW LOVES SUMMERRRR!!!” Loves the music and how it syncs with the notes.

If ANDREWW can't play guitar then the man in my game must be one of his disciples.
Either way, funny narration 😂 and the beats didnt exaclty match up , but it was chill.

ANDREWWWW!!!

I had a stupid grin on my face for the entire intro video, after getting over the initial jump scare lmao.  I like the 3D take on the notes approaching, but I was struggling a bit to find the musical components that they lined up with in the song.  The timing was pretty well aligned though so I did end up with a shiny new home!  I don't think it's going to do a great job of keeping intruders away from my newly acquired coin hoard though...  the walls seem to be more decorative than solid.

Great vibes here, thanks for the laughs!  McLovin is always watching

Thanks 😊
I think its all about WebGL fault If you played the browser version, video was actually streamed from GitHub Pages due the WebGL limitation🤷‍♂️

Hilarious cutscene in the beginning! Aren‘t we all a little bit like Andrew? Getting flashed by Mr McLovin xD

Developer(+1)

McLovin as the main character was CHEF’S KISS 🤌😂

Getting a house is definitely less of a grind in this game ! haha  Thanks for that (:
Loved the environment. Good work !

Thanks! 😊

Strangely hypnotic. I felt... strange after buying my first house. My wrist hurt. There was no furniture. Could this truly be the American dream of a man like Andrew? How could I live like this? I didn't fired just to sit in houses. No the game means more. The arrows. The rhythm. When I'm there I am an AnDDRew. Give me the pads.

Developer(+1)

Yes, instead of sitting in your house crib 24/7, you should work on becoming a cooler version of yourself! Andrew never gives up even after getting fired! 🔥

Beat Nomad is such a high-energy game!!! I laughed so many times! :D

Nerts, it would be awesome to do a jam with you someday.
I loved the house-buying mechanic. It’s a really cool idea.
And then there’s ANDREW... 😂

That opening cutscene hahahaha! Love the energy and the presentation. Things get super intense when the camera zooms out! LOVED IT!

Really incredible storytelling, game art, and minigame mechanics. The sync between the notes and the music is spot on. And the comments to Andrew are absolutely hilarious. I had a lot of fun playing your game!

I was a bit disappointed though because after buying the 60k house, nothing else seemed to happen 😅

Quick suggestion: a "Skip Intro" button would be awesome 😂. The sensitivity felt a bit off too, so having an option to adjust it would be nice. The character movement also felt a bit unnatural. But honestly, all of that doesn’t really matter in the context of a game jam.

Really great job overall!

Thanks so much for the feedback! And yeah, I totally agree the game a bit weird, deadlines crushed before I could polish it properly 😅😅
