Welcome all developers, artists, and designers to our Summer Rhythm Jam, a 7‑day game jam hosted by Bezi that celebrates the pulse‑pounding joy of rhythm games! From Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero to Beat Saber, matching actions to the beat has kept players hooked and grooving for decades.
Your game must be rhythm‑based at its core: gameplay should synchronize with music or a steady beat. Beyond that, it’s your stage - 2D, 3D, VR, side‑scrolling, top‑down, first‑person, anything goes. Feel free to weave in puzzle timing, narrative adventures, or unexpected twists. Just make sure the tempo drives the challenge and rewards players for staying on the beat as the intensity builds.
The theme is: Summer Adventure! This can be sunset drives and beach-town boardwalks to rain-soaked campgrounds and passport-stamped adventures. Let your last roadtrip, beach day, vacation, or backpacking experience fuel your creativity for this jam and kick us off into this summer season!
