Really nice! I enjoyed cruising through the net feeling like acrazy hekr. Thanks for the fun

Very nice visuals! I’m not a big fan of typing games but got 2 secrets and to israel - good enough for me :D

Sublime visuals and audio with a very appealing concept.

The terminal makes total sense in the setting, I wish we could press up to get to the last command or auto fix for typos. Maybe that is a upgrade? I did not get too far, because typing was a bit too tedious for me.

Glad you enjoyed the aesthetic, and thanks for the feedback and giving it a shot! Tab completion and prompt history were at the top of our to-do list for most of the jam but there wasn't enough time to get to it.

Really cool concept - it was a bit tedious I would agree having to constantly type the commands, but I think it's really different so that more than makes up for it!

Great concept, great visuals. A tad tedious in its current iteration, but I hope you keep working on it. As someone else pointed out, it really is reminiscent of Uplink/Hacknet, and as a funny coincidence, I was just thinking of those the other day.

Developer

Thanks for the constructive feedback and encouragement! Removing the tedium was a big part of the 9 day challenge for us, and something we'll work on for future versions.

fun game! not sure if this was inspired by Uplink, but it gave me those vibes. highly recommend playing that if you haven't

Developer

Glad you liked it! Uplink wasn't a deliberate source of inspiration but there definitely are similarities :)

Very well-executed concept! Typing the same commands got tiring after a bit but the upgrades helped with that. However, I didn't really get the connection with the theme.

Hey runiracc, thanks for trying out our game! Our original idea for the game was for the player to infiltrate different networks and set off a ransomware attack, where hacked computers would spread their malware to their neighbours (causing a chain reaction). In the end, scope of the game had to be cut down to finding secrets due to time constraints.
