Look, I knew something was probably off due to the theme, but still, I couldn’t help but want to trust that sweet face of his :( The reveal really sent chills down my spine, it was so well executed. I really loved the small bits of foreshadowing that one wouldn’t even think of if it wasn’t for the twist! Art direction was really nice, I really loved the color scheme. And that sprite!! chef’s kiss

Ooo the vibes in this are impeccable, the rising tension expertly executed for real for real. I didn't need that heartbeat sound to feel that genuine tinge of fear as it all came together. (but the sound and music choices were also excellent and really added to everything)

Let's meet tomorrow nails its pacing and presentation. The quality of the art and interface are would be impressive for a monthlong jam, let alone a 36-hour jam. The expressions are so dynamic and readable!! I loved looking for any foreshadowing during replays, it makes this experience feel so full. The twist was able to hit like a ton of bricks because the hypothetical relationship does feel deep and textured -- I was not expecting to be undermined, even while the theme was blaring in my head.

Yes the situation itself is terrifying, but I'm going to be honest, Silas was so funny for doing that??

[[Spoilers]]

The fact he just pretends to be the guy MC is meeting with because he can, and literally gets bored and leaves without doing anything in the Delusion ending is great. Like what a weird guy?? But that's also really funny to me lol

You really got both the first-date sweetness and hard swivel to dread nailed! The fact that he leaves no matter the outcome honestly creeped me out even more than anything he could’ve done. I feel like I want to crawl out of my skin now ;_; Great job!

First off, I absolutely adore the sprite art! "Silas" looks so sweet and all the different expressions made me fall in love with him. Yeah yeah stranger danger but...what if...the stranger is cute...0.0

The initial meeting and the milkshake scene was written super well and gave us enough time to really fall for Silas. The MCs emotions come across well, which made the later scene all that more horrifying. Good job! I also like that we don't even know that much about the real Silas, like yeah the MC is kinda hopeless.

One bug note for you to maybe look at later: the game crashes when I try to open History.

Overall, beautiful art, good mood and pacing, and fun game! thanks for making it~

What beautiful GUI you have there, I must say. Is it bad that I'd totally be like "oh a stranger... but like...hot" and just let it all be water under the bridge? MC gets an L for the major fumble. The kinetic text adds SOOO much to the experience, I've definitely got a thing or two to learn from you! (^3^)

what a FASCINATING guy. i just caught up on your explanation behind him and now it’s all clicking together and coming together and honestly i love that so much! both of these people are kind of perfect for each other actually and i mean that in the best way possible. (spoilers!) the fact that “silas” is fully taking advantage of the situation and continuously tests the waters to see what he can get away with, and the way he’s not even being that cautious either… whenever he slips up he just easily plays it off, but he’s not avoiding slipping up in the first place. and the fact that the protagonist is also just as equally selfish and shallow in their intentions (inviting this dude over right away but like this is your first day seeing him irl!) really drives it home. they’re so situationship coded…

also i loved the use of kinetic text towards the end to really help the situation pop! and actually in hindsight this guy is kind of really funny? he was like yeah whatever i’m going along with it and stuck it out for as long as he could. am i curious what could have happened in the ending where you call him out? absolutely. am i still very tickled pink by these two people who are made for one another? absolutely. this was such a fun game to play!

I really appreciated the attention to detail that went into the visuals of this piece. Everything from the sprites, to the UI, to the backgrounds, etc. just looked fantastic and came together so well! Really good story as well, you had me hooked!!
