I can't say that my English is perfect either. I don't mind the change of day to chapter, my only ick is the change with the story, the flow isn't as smooth and flexible as the old version. And your writing is still great as always, it's just the changes feels like unnecessarily throwing out all the previous great writing you've put your efforts into. I still love the game regardless, it's just take a lot from me to get used to with all the changes, it's tough to do but now I find new appreciation for the changes. Keep it up!

Jajaja good to know! Yeah, it felt bad for me to change all the things I already wrote, but wanted to change it a bit more for the future. I hope the next chapters make you feel better.

Hahaha yeah... I'm sorry, it's really jarring seeing how big the change is, I might've sound upset but trust me I'm not — just confused about it. Yeah... Maybe it's also because I love the old subtle story approach. But hey I'll get used to it.

Translator/writer of the english script here. Nowadays it's getting rarer for people to actually give constructive criticism so I really appreciate you taking the time to write this.

The new rewrite was implemented as a way to ease the burden and restraints of doing branching routes and days as a story progression anchor, while I do get your complaints about the slightly different character portrayals. It's not "throwing away" writings as you said, but simply building upon it to tell a more complex story for every character, with more freedom for the writer!

With time we hope to tell each of the stories with a mountains more depth and character development than what the old script could offer. Thank you for your support, seriously!

Yeah sorry for my lack of vocabulary, "throwing away" is such a harsh word I agree. But that's basically what it is, you scrap the old story — keeping a few part and apply new approach to it. 

I get and noticed the point you said about making it easier to write when I play the game, not just that I also found that in the old version you introduce too much route into the story, when some character doesn't add anything or build any significant into the MC — Like Clarance and that dragon guy (Sorry I forgot his name). The three only sensible character to build any significance is just Tiger, Presodal, and Marcus. Not to mention if you considering putting different topic you could've explore based of their characterization, you could made the route more richer. Like for example Tiger route explore an emotional distress or the importance of strength and compassion, Presodal explore sexuality and composure, while Marco explore the meaning of reliability and trust.

Now putting all that aside complex to me is not right word for the new version, maybe what you mean is a "Compact" story. Because that's how it felt to me, with how everything unfold quite quickly amd all the emotional weight is presented in a faster sequence, when the older version present all that emotional weight in a way that more subtle and gradual.  For example like rather than having the problem with MC's parents in a conversation, the older one had us met his father and see the emotional distance first hand. But like I said, although I prefer the presentation of the old version, the new one still definitely writen in a really great way.

Anyway, I would love to revisit the old version before the changes, can I ask on which built did you start to apply all this changes? I would like to see the update before it. 

This changes were added in version 0.38. I don't think you can have the previous version unless there is a web about it.

And thank you for your comment. Like I said, it really helps me to understand my community and improve my writing. 

I think I can download previous build through the development log. And anyway, just finished it... And I can't wait for the next update. Don't rush yourself there, good results takes time.
