This was actually very interesting and refreshing for the jam. So many of the games I've played have been really uninspired and generic, so this really kept my interest. Unfortunately it doesn't fit the theme really at all. Did you make this for the "Forever Connected" theme? I still gave a good rating, because I did like the game.

Developer

Nope, we though this up for this theme. We wanted to go for a more abstract interpretation of light and shadow by  taking the concept of two entities being together instead of a physical light and shadow. I'll admit it isn't a very tight fit though, thanks for playing anyway :)

That was cool :D I like that you put an effort in with the story!

This was actually impressive but at some point - about 2 scenes before the music started - I got glitches, where I would see multiple scenes at once and they would block out each other, so I couldn't finish

Developer

Unfortunately, that is a game-breaking bug that showed up like 20 minutes before the deadline and we couldn't fix. The only way to "fix" it is to start over from the beginning again and hope it doesn't happen.

Now we learned: for the next game jam we really need to leave like 2 hours for bug squashing. Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed what you did play.
