How does your game tie into the theme?
My game fits the theme grow by letting you guide raindrops to help plants grow.

I’m not entirely sure I get it.
There are raindrops. And you can drag them. But they don’t do much of anything.
And I have 1 plant grown, and a barren wasteland otherwise.
Are we supposed to be able to summon more raindrops somehow?
Yea, not really, its just a small basic game. I have 2 levels and the first one has 1 one plant as you said and the second level has 3 plants. That's about all I had time for. And no you cant summon more raindrops, I wanted to make it a bit better, but didn't have time.
Thanks for you feedback :)
Pretty cool first go-around then :)
The raindrop-dragging script as well as making it look alive
Tips for improvement:
Player info
When the plant is done growing, it would be nice to get a “level won” popup as feedback to the player to move on. And ideally redirect to next level / main menu.
Resolution
As the other person said when exporting to web, you might encounter resolutions you weren’t expecting.
For the main menu, this means you could look in to scaling UI.
For in-game, it would possibly be repositioning the camera :) (or manually adding one to the scene)
Keep on Jammin’ ;)
Nice entry given its you first submission! The best part of the game was def. the watering mechanic. I could imagine the game being a minigame in a cosy gardening game.
Thanks :)
Funny enough our team had growing plants in the game with no water mechanic :). I did like the idea of dragging around, but I wanted more. Maybe you could add simple interactions of clicking the plants to eventually drop more seeds? I never was able to get more than just one plant. I also experienced the window issue mentioned below where it looks like you can see more than you should.
Yea, I know. I know I exported it wrong but I had no time to spare, so I just submitted it like this. The seed machine sounds fun, I will probably add that, thanks! Love the feedback! :)
The game was simple ! You have a raindrop and you click and drag it to the seed until it grow, the game loop is definitely there =), would've liked to see more level ! Also, i think maybe there's an issue with how you might've exported the game because on my side, with firefox, the play zone was small versus the screen ( see picture ) and some button didnt worked, like the option button on the main menu, then again, this might've been an error on my side. Maybe you can try to export the game to windows/linux/mac ? Also there wasn't any sound. Again, might be on my side.
Thanks! The issues aren't on your side at all. I wanted to add all the things in the description but had no time. I exported it wrong and the sound glitched (not on your side) Thanks for the feedback!
Definitely an interesting and unique mechanic! I'd like to see more done with it I think, after dropping a couple of raindrops I experienced everything that was really there to offer. I'm not certain the game description is accurate either? Most of what it says doesn't really reflect what is there.
Im going to do more with it and I wanted to add more but didnt have time at all (as i was sick). The description is of how i wanted to make the game. Thanks for the feedback!
It was pretty good, a bit simple. I didn't hear the music mentioned in the description. I like the art and the soil wetness mechanic is very original! Cool game
Thanks a lot! This was my second Game Jam ever, so that's probaly why it's a bit simple. All the artwork was made by me and I did'nt sucreed in adding sound. Thank you :)
