Minzu is a ghost, so she can phase through walls, and fly and float around. I can't show the flying or floating because I don't know how to, but it's described in the text.

I interpreted Dragon's Field as the ruins of a volcanic eruption: both are fiery, dangerous, destructive phenomena which tend to burn everything in its path, be it the dragon's breath or the lava; even the sheer physical force, like the dragon's stomp or the ashes and rocks of volcanoes can cause immense damage, like what happened to this ghost town.,
