How does the game fit the theme?
My game fits the theme due to the mechanical chaos and randomness placed in the game (this would be through the Events system and random Items). The game also gets more chaotic as you progress.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used Bosca Ceoil: The Blue Album for music and SFXR in LMMS for sound effects. I used Aseprite for my art assets. I used a font taken from Google Fonts as well.

Fun game! I really liked the art style and colors you picked for this game. And the power ups were interesting too. This is definitely a great foundation if you want to expand the game further after the jam, nice job on this!

Thanks for the comment! Definitely agree, and I think making a solid idea and a solid base for a game are what game jams are all about!

Simple and yet very effective! One of the best games I've played so far. Nonetheless, I'd like to offer some suggestions for further development:
1) Consider adding more gameplay and visual variety with enemy types or upgrade types
2) Consider some rebalancing as the game felt fairly easy

Well done!

Thanks for the feedback! Defnitely agree that if I do continue development of the gam, it needs more variety, and I also think that I could've done a better job with the difficulty scaling (I think I should've should've increased the difficulty at a slower pace over a longer period). I really appreciated how much you enjoyed it as well, thanks for playing :)
