Is it me, or is the next public update taking longer than it should
Definitely taking longer. Shirokoi is probably really busy.
According to the Discord, the public version the next update wull be released on February 27.
I didn't even know there was a Discord. Is that for patrons or something? (Thanks for the info btw, really appreciated).

Is the update still coming out today?
The update is out. He just hasn't updated the itch.io page I guess. Check his patreon. Version 7.0 download is available there (even for non-patrons, which is how I got it).
