How does your game represent "Power"?
Boot King is quite powerful, increasingly so. He collects money to grow his crown, increasing his potential jump power. The long you hold down the jump button, the more powerful his jump. This game also represents themes of power inspired by my own reflections on the world and the word over the last week or so.

Fun quick game
I thought I'd play only once but when I saw the leaderboard, I had to get the high score. I didn't in the end but it was pretty fun to try to come up with a strategy of making money faster. The end jump is a bit unfair as no matter the power you've got, it's really hard to do a vertical jump and bouncing off walls slows you down a lot and doesn't let you land at the top platform.

I seem to be soft locked at the beginning- can't jump high enough to get more than 2 bills

Yeah I've been tearing my hair trying to figure out what's causing/how to avoid this. Can I ask what browser you experienced the bug in?

Is it possible it has to do with screen resolution? What's your monitor resolution?
I had that thought as well. I have two, both at 1920 x 1080. fwiw, I don't believe anyone has experienced that bug on firefox or through the .exe
I was on 1080p, but I also had multiple displays connected..
works on chrome on my laptop tho!
very fun and love the mobile support. the dialogue is great. I loved seeing the improvements from when I first playtested it, was a blast!

Yeah! I was on Chrome for Windows. It was the bug where I couldn't really jump, despite how far I clicked and dragged the mouse around the screen.
okay that tracks with what i've heard so far! opera and chrome have had that bug sometimes for sure, i'm not aware of hat happening on firefox or through the download yet though. thank you!
