All right, I've notified our admins. But you should know that people post here almost daily asking for help with individual games. They don't understand we're only a marketplace. When games work poorly, that reflects poorly on us. Doubly so as trying to load a browser game only to have my system become unusable looks a lot like a denial of service attack. And a very real one could be directed against the server with a maliciously crafted archive. In other words, yet more reasons to have a safety limit in place.
Ok I see what you mean. Yes I understand it a lot better now. I could see how a long load time would reflect poorly on the platform as a whole. Thank you for that insight and for contacting the admins for me!
Perhaps there could be an option that removes the limit if the project is under restrictive access? I think the nature of restrictive access means that the person with the password has contact with the devs. I know that is not a trival task, but put it in the old suggestion box.
Thank you again for the response and now I have a much better understanding about the limit. Have a great day!
