A really nice game with a creative idea. The art and visuals are also amazing.

Great idea and nice graphics! I think it could've been a little more forgiving in the first minute, while the player is still getting used to things. As is, it's very hectic right away. Once I got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun!

This is such a cool concept I love it!

Visually pretty, with catchy melody, and really fun fast paced platformer game

I have no other words this is perfection.

Spectacular use of space! Creativity was off the charts from the water acting as a timer to the implementation of the scaling feature. The block placement mechanic felt a bit hard to use at times but overall such an incredible job!

Not gonna lie, one of my favorite games of the jam that I've played so far.

This was a really awesome game, y'all really nailed the vibe with your game, and did a great job executing it. Also I was wondering where inspiration for the music came from because the song reminds me of the song Sand on the Beach by fidlar.

Hi! Honestly the only thing I knew going into making the song was that it was going to be called Oceanic Panic, I wanted the main melody to be a steel pan to get the beachy vibe, and I wanted it to be a bit goofy.

Everything else just kinda went from there. I didn't know the song you mentioned but I can definitely hear the similarities in the progression! Thanks for playing the game ✨

I love seeing these seemingly simple ideas executed so well. It's a little difficult at first but it's so easy to restart it didn't take long to get the hang of it.

Polished chill game with happy theme. What more can you want :)

This is a really clever use of the theme and I absolutely love the art style you went with. The 2D in a 3D world concept is always great too. As many of said though, it definitely needs a tutorial and the game is going waaay too fast at the start. With random spawns, the first jump being attainable was not always obvious (at least it didn't seem to always spawn with a block in reach on the front side) so it made me think that I had to place a piece to make the first jump of the game. But because of the timer, that is physically impossible.

Once I figured it out though, it was a lot of fun. Trying to think strategically about when to place blocks and where to head with your jumps makes for a great combination. So with a smoother introduction I think the game could really shine. Well done!

This is an amazingly polished game, i love the artstyle and the curving tower effect, its a very striking style.

my only complaint is that the placeable block shadows are a little hard to see in the heat of the moment.

Cute art, music and concept. :D

Great work on the character movement. Feels just right. Nice art too.

Ok so  the start is a little tough, I couldn't figure out why clicking didn't do anything, turns out I just needed to make the first jump and then it worked. Fullscreen didn't work in firefox. And other than that, I absolutely loved it.

I mean, the music, the art, little captain's hat in the water after you get eaten, it's so charming. Great job y'all. 5/5 in all categories.

I really loved this! the block placing gets appropriately frantic, especially when you have to wait for a block and all you can do is watch the water climb ever higher!

I loved playing it 10/10, congratulations!

Very nice game! You really made trying to get as high as possible SUPER fun. The cooldown bar was a great addition too. Awesome job!
