Nice game with a good difficulty level for the type of game it is. I really liked it! The enemy movement behaviour was really fun to see as well as the special effects. The indicators for where the enemy would spawn was also a nice touch.

Impossible mode seems a little too impossible for me however XD

That was difficult and tough but I truly liked your amazing game!

This was designed really well. I was able to get 54 seconds lol. That was very tough. I love the way the beat synced up with the game. Great job!

This was awesome! I really loved how the patterns synced with the music, though it felt like the start and that bit a little after a minute were the best in that regard. Would've been neat to see that expanded on. The slowdown mechanic was really great too. I only made it to 59 seconds myself so I liked that I could use the View Mode to see the whole thing!

I'm curious how impossible mode came about, was that a prototyped movement system you moved on from and left in for the challenge? The main movement felt good but you might want to consider normalizing it so the player doesn't move faster diagonally (unless that was intentional).

Truthfully I believe those who used unity to make bullet hell-ish games this jam are clearly very intelligent people with great taste 😁

Thanks - we didn't actually conisder normalizing the movement for the main movement. The other movement was something we were considering using to try and tie a theme of "gravity" to the game, but scrapped it in favor of just bullets being everywhere since we were working through it on the last day.

A tough, yet well made challenge. After playing ten minutes I can't get past 25 seconds, but it is still pretty fun. I love how the adrenaline rush effect makes the music slow down as well... very cool. Nice work!
