- I will be posting a comprehensive YouTube video of my multiple playthroughs and feedback soon. https://www.youtube.com/@JimmyBriggs
- J'ai aimé l'idée que chaque pièce menait à un endroit diffrent. Le volume sonore très inégale selon les scènes rend certaines parties du jeu désagréable (et pas d'option pour pouvoir le gérer).
- A short game mixing adventure, platform, runner, ... and which surprises with its original mechanics. The notion of dream is particularly perceptible here, in every room. The graphics are pleasant, the hero too cute in his costume. Thank you for this entry in the game jam, it's really a nice discovery.
Diversifier/Défi optionnel
There's 5 rooms in the main house, idk not really

When I first played this game, I thought "what is that?". It looked so strange (and it is! in a good way). The gameplay is very simple: move and jump. And then you go where you want and write your own dream -or nightmare. Indeed in my first attempt I stayed in the bedroom to jump on the bed, like a nasty kid who doesn't want to sleep. But I didn't imagine that an horrible monster would come from nowhere to catch me! On my next plays I moved, didn't want to see that monster again, and went to explore the basement with a tv, went deeper underground and found a mysterious place with a lot of terrible faces in the dark. Yikes! Looks like I always end up in the most nightmarish situations! Happily I went back to the bedroom (I don't know by which miracle) and I explored differently again. This time I went undersea and could enjoy a very interesting world, after which I "fell in the sky" where a rain of food was waiting for me, and I rolled over a spherical burger (or what looked like it). It seemed like a happy end to the dream, so I decided to stop here. I'm sure there's much more to explore, and I might give it another try later. It's fun and well done, with plenty of excellent idea. I just thought that it lacked of story/narration, even if it might be best for the dream and the experience without it. The art is simple but works well, if you like pixel art and funny shaders, you'll love it!
I played it very early on and the game seemed to get so much bigger by time the streamers started to play, I probably need to go back and try again! I love the style and artwork, I'd like to see some interactions but still well done :)
I'm not sure what you mean? The current version of the game is what we submitted on the day the jam was due. No further updates or adjustments have been made since.
Glad you like it though!
After having watched a bit of Nattetid gameplay already in the Yaz5 stream, I played a bit myself and went exploring. The style of this game is lovely, it has all the game jam vibes. I like the character design, it reminds me of that boy from Where the Wild Things are, but it's still yours. The different locations are surprising and you never know what to expect when leaving a room and entering another scene. I definitely haven't seen it all, I know there was more from the stream. What I saw so far looked promising, and as far as I understood you are still working on expanding the game? Keep it up! I would have liked to enable to interact a bit with something, not sure if I just haven't seen it where I was in the game, or it isn't planned? For me it was definitely a dream like game and a good fit for this jam.
Thanks for playing!
Yes, we're currently working on a "post-jam" version with a full gameplay experience, including a narrative, more involved gameplay and ending. It's probably a month or two away, but we have a ton of cool stuff planned and are very excited!
By the way, I really like the game title and that you didn't just go for a generic english title (almost) everyone would understand at a glance. It makes it even more unique. I've learned a bit Swedish a while ago and was able to understand the meaning without looking it up, which was a nice experience for me, personally. Looking forward to the updated version!
