Eye-catchy game!
But my brain simply can't process the matching :P
I think it would be more playable for everyone if it were rock, paper, scissors like you said, even a little kid could play it without any tutorial at all.
Regarding the help section, it'd be better if there's Next/Back buttons to navigate instead of its auto transitioning to the next image so I don't have to play it many times to get the matching.
On HTML5, you can map it to the 1 2 3 or A S D (whatever) keys for faster reactions.
I think you have created a very cool casual game and it's absolutely perfect for mobile. Looks beautiful!
I'd just make it start slower, reduce the amount of clicks you need to restart to one and change the shape counters to something more intuitive. E.g. simply pressing the same shape would be very intuitive. :D
Its a lot of fun. Tried it on android. It's so hard, though >.< Personally I would prefer it to start slower, but I don't know what others think.
Also, I think where people are getting confused is in the tutorial you say to match the two shapes, but it's not clear that you mean the two different shapes on the screen. Maybe show all 3 matching possibilities at the same time so people can see that it's not straight up matching shapes?
Anyways, great sound design and cute graphics. It's a nice game :) I like it!
Thanks for the feedback :D
Yes, I agree!! After the jam I'll add another image in the tutorial that show better the shapes combinations...I did it on paper, I can do it also on pc ;)
It's hard to predict playing in Browser, but it's fun to try haha!
Yes, I totally agree but was born as a mobile game and was exported in html5 only to be tryied easily by the wowie game jam submitters :)
Maybe after the jam I'll implement a simple key listener to be played better on pcs!
Thanks for the feedback and for trying it out :D
Yes I would love to rate it after playing a version in which I can use keyboard buttons, however I am still unclear because it is not simply matching, I appear to need a circle to match with triangle, etc, and that's just a hard brain thing to do in such a small amount of time. I may be missing something in the mechanic.
Because that should be the funny thing...like in rock paper scissor's game :D
Anyway, as I said, it was though for mobile devices and I admit that it's still hard but lot easyer than using a mouse.
Thanks for the feedback. The comments like yours help me grow up and make better projects :)
