The concept is great, failing first to pass the level is very unique, however i see some rooms for improvement, i see that the resolution of the character images decreased as the strength decreased, is this intentional, i think this is not a good way to show feedback, you could probably add like a red border to the screen implying danger, and the way the tutorial is shown is not great in my opinion, throwing all the controls at the player at the beginning of the game overwhelms the player (atleast for me), and its not the best thing to do to show tutorial in a form of a wall of text that the player have to read, you could probably gradually teach the player as they go on the levels, so that they understand the things one by one, and the dialogue could just be for narrative purposes, however for a three day jam with 10 levels with this polish, its great

The artworks is simple, efficient and polish. The sound design is good, but it will be interesting to have a music like the one in the menu in the levels. The controls need to be more responding i think but great job !

Good work

The dialogue and the way you introduced the game is interesting and the mechanic you chose was fun. The hitboxes were a little big and it was hard to win without losing a few lives but the concept is enjoyable and the art and SFX are cute. Well done!

The concept is interesting -- kinda like beserker mode in some games, where you get more powerful when you have less health (thinking of that one mirror power in Hades if you've played that). The controls were actually really fun and I was getting into the platforming when I had 1 health, but unfortunately the sluggish controls on high health put me off a bit. I wonder if there's a way where you could have more power in low health but keep high health still interesting?

I also think there were a *couple* too many mechanics in the game -- the jam making the screen blurry for example -- that detract from the game being able to hone in and focus on one mechanic really strongly.

I also noticed the squish effect on the main character, which I liked, and in general the aesthetic of the game was nice -- it was simple, but well put together and easy to tell what everything is, which is the most important thing in a game jam game IMO.

Overall, I liked it!

The game is really nice I really like it although the dialogue is kind of long but over all is a really well made game

Well done, great art and sounds but I found it really hard. The player was moving really slowly and when I gained more strength to finally be able to move well, it was hard not to hit anything with the few health I had left. But, I do see how it fits the theme perfectly! Really nice job though and well done!

Great game I like the simple art style you use. I agree with the first comment, the spike is not forgiving, maybe make the collider a little bit smaller.

It's pretty fun, and I love the artstyle. It felt like the collision between the player and the spikes was a lot larger than it looked, but that might have just been me, and I thought the opening tutorial was a bit too wordy, but I still think it's a great game.
