Cool game! Really liked the idea :)
Very nice arstyle! very cool idea for the game mechanic with the colors! color me impressed! and did i told you already? yes! very nice and simplistic artstyle! sometimes simplicity does wonders! good job!
Thank you so much!!
Got 64 Points. Even got to the end of the background music and heard it starting again
Sadly once you hit a cactus your game is over =(
yeaah..i didn't have a time for the cactus but i would tryna make it better. Well played!!
The art style, the background music and the relaxing game loop makes everything holds very well together.
This deserves more ratings, so I posted it on the Treasure Trove post.
Glad you liked the game ,and thank you for the Treasure Trove post; really appreciate it!
I really like the Art Style, very simple but distinctive. Nice Job.!
Thank you so much!
As mentioned in other comments; it seems like there are bugs with the color matching? If I am a bug covered in a cactus it doesn't seem like I can do anything about it but restart; but the fire matches with water and the water matches with fire. Not sure if it was an intentional bug for the game jam or not. :)
Adding more types and having the gameplay ramp up this could be a very fun arcade-like game!
I didn't have enough time for the cactus, but would trying to improve the game in the future. Thanks!
(and thank you for that semicolon; such an english lesson)
Anyone wanting to play this, here is what you need. https://love2d.org
To the dev, I think you should reupload the game with the proper DLLs.
I was able to play it by downloading a version of Löve, extracting the game files from your EXE (because the version I got was different from yours so even if I put the DLLs in the same directory it didn't work .-.). And then yeah, I was able to play.
It's kind of hard to understand at the start, but then I realized you have to make pairs of colors. Red+green and blue+red for example. I think I tried green+blue and it didn't work (a.k.a. Pokémon typings if I see it as red=fire and that).
I actually liked it when I got to play it properly. Good job!
I'll work on it soon after i had enough sleep. Thank you very very much for your comments, much much appreciate it.
Rest well friend!
Would have better if you had kept the required .dll's .
still beginer to that stuff .I would consider to do that later in other project. and could you also explain more about it , like what's the advantage rather than just a .exe file
Thanks.
If you add the DLLs, people will be able to actually play the game. I was able to play the game but only because I did extra work and I know how Löve works. .-.
Ahh, my bad. I'll work on it as soon as I could. Sorry to make you had to do extra work and thank you so much.
