Hi guys we thought It was a good idea to share the progress we made so far on the project. We are basing our game in the slavic folklore, and it's going to be an atmosheric game, that's all I can say for now ;) we would share more details as we go further into development.

Team members in no particular order.

Kylen (3d artist)

-This week Kylen has been focusing on creating some props for the scene

El Fideo Rubio (3d artist, tech artist)

I tried learning houdini for this project and while I manage to make some procedural assets the program learning curve is quite steep although you might ending up seeing some of those in game.

here's a houdini HDA that is supposed to get rid of the hand placing of walls: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8W8PMLRj9I

I also started some work on the modular assets:

Milo (Coder)

Milo has implemented some mechanics this week among them the ability to open doors toggle the flashlight and a protopype for a drawing glymph mechanic. Here's some of them in action.

Saulo (Audio)

Saulo has put his attention creating several footsteps cracking sounds and ambience tracks unfortunetly I couldn't get a hold of him before the writting of the devblog so nothing I can share on that front.

So that's a wrap up for the week, we are still looking for animators character artist and 2d artists, If you like what you saw and would like to participate don't hesitate to reach out to me on discord: El fideo rubio#8764

Great to see some dev blogging in the community! Slavic folklore has so much interesting material to work with. Good luck -- looking forward to seeing more about your team's project when you have time!
