I absolutely love the vibe of this track! All of the instruments you selected work for you in a very positive way: the piano, drums, bass, and saxophone create a smoky intimate jazzy space, the strings add an air of haziness and slight mystery, and the vibraphone adds a nice game-y quality, all of which fit a casino area so well! I imagine this track fitting very well in a video game level like the Delfino Casino from Super Mario Sunshine.

Constructive feedback: Your instruments weave together nicely (I especially like the saxophone countermelody). There are times when I hear the bass mirroring the melody quite closely (0:18-0:25 as one example) and with the two instruments playing almost in unison, it leaves the harmony sounding a little empty at that part. I wonder if it might help fill that part in by having the bass play different notes in that section, by maybe walking down the scale or moving upward to contrast the downward motion of the melody.

Overall, this is a very charming track and I would absolutely vibe to it if I heard it in a game I was playing. Great work and thank you for sharing!

Thank you! Thanks for pointing out the bass mirroring the melody, I can definitely see how that could be a place for improvement.

Sounds interesting! I'd suggest working a bit with volume levels of certain instruments to make it an even better mix! But overall the jazzy atmosphere is nice and it definitely fits the theme well! Nicely done!

Thanks for your comment! I agree, I still need to develop my ability to hear what volume levels of instruments sound the best.

Perfect sound choice :) I think the piano chords clash with some of the underlying melodies, like the sax and could use a little volume down (my right ear is a bit tired after listening to it whole haha). I really like the part after 1:10!

I appreciate the feedback! I do need to work on my mixing definitely.
