My favorite part of this piece is the B section at 0:34 with the clavichord chords and the rhythmic piano left hand. I have to say, I really like the marimba - to me it kind of has a ticking clock effect which I think sort of indirectly works well for “chance” or “risk-taking” sounds. I like the use of a pedal tone and the rising melody - this gives the sense of tension swelling, like adrenaline when someone is betting a lot of money in a casino.

Constructive feedback: I think the B section is well-made, and my wish is that the A section maybe has a little more of the same energy as the B section. I think that the harmony (as mentioned above) works well to set the mood, but I think the repetitive perfect fifth in the piano landing on the downbeat of each measure with the kick drum on the offbeats kind of slows the energy down, whereas using the kick drum perhaps on all beats of the measure or adding some syncopation to the piano left hand (like the B section) would help energize this section.

Overall, I really like your approach to this piece and I definitely think you did well writing for the theme. Great work and thank you for sharing!

That's a cool way to start the song! I like the trumpet bit at 1:00.

I think the xylophone sound that comes laters doesnt really match the rest of the instruments and the coin sound are a bit on the nose (tho i undrstand the reasoning behind using them haha). Otherwise, good job :P

Thanks for the feedback. :)

Yeah, with some parts I was also not quite sure, if it is too much. Because I had not much time left, I just thought: "Alright I just try it anyway and look, what others say about it."

Alright, lesson learned, not too much earcandy (the coin) . ^^"
