I did have a little uncertainty knowing if I had successfully chosen a new weapon in the left hand UI, but otherwise didn't have any trouble getting into it. This was really fun. Great job.

This a really fun play! I loved the different weapons and all the diff planets were incredible! I also really loved the orbiting ships and turrets that could be destroyed. Those orbiting ships looked uber cute on the mini mini planets <3

If you find some time this weekend, please check out our game “Starship Minis”, if you haven’t already, and leave a comment to let us know what you think! https://itch.io/jam/vr-jam-2021/rate/1145490

Thanks and congrats on completing the jam!!

Was fun to play! The only thing I'd like to see is better shaders, textures, particle effects and music. But that would've been too much to do in 2 days. I honestly think you should continue working on it as it has great concept and core mechanics are well done :)

I liked the colors you chose for this game, it was rather calming and pleasing to the eyes! Even if I was destroying and eating planets. I would have loved to have some kind of real crunchy eating sound and some more VFX for when you devour the planets to make it very satisfying. Some of the planets were still shooting at me even after I killed them, so I kept dying :/

Developer

Ahh I did have crunch noises like homer simpson on my list but didn't get the time for it, definitely wanted to though 😁

Hmm you mean after you ate them or when their health was at 0? That part was intended to still have turrets at 0, just so you couldn't shoot them from afar and just easily win

Submitted

Yeah, after their health was at 0. So they don't really die at 0 you just are able to eat them once their counter reaches 0. Maybe you can add some kind of visual cue or something when the planets life reaches 0 instead. I thought it was weird that they were still shooting back at me even though their planet was at 0.

Developer

hmm good point, Maybe a text that says 'ready to eat' would have worked better rather than just making the text green, good shout.

I had some problems on selecting some skill but anyway i had lot of fun on shooting and avoiding other planets projectile! Nice Job!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah the colliders got a bit tricky when I was doing the power select, I wish I had more visual cues for when you have successfully selected a power

Submitted

I think that maybe there could be some workarounds. like to make a png of the skill and put in over the button. Mainly that is the first thing i though when i played it. But anyway is really enjoyable!!

Solid work! The firing and movement worked pretty well. It was a bit awkward to try and grab the planet once it was weak enough. But, still an enjoyable world eating time!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I remember at the end of my project I was having to kneel down to grab some of the planets 😅

It was fun and I liked the art style for the game along with the sound effects. I couldn't really do the reset but I was surprised at how fast the planets multiplied. Did you work together with a team on this project ?

Developer

Thanks :) Yeah I did the reset right at very end of the project, I had trouble getting it to work. For some reason it only works with the Middle astroid ability when testing it :D

I worked on it by myself :)

couldn't seem to damage the worlds that I was shooting at be for I would died and the game would end

Developer

Hmm so the health didn't go down on any of the planets when you shot astroids at it?

Developer

Ahh I know what it probably is, the astroids burn up (get destroyed) after 5 seconds, so you need to get closer to shoot them
