  • Great idea, and looks good! I tried playing this on SteamVR/Vive with Knuckles, and Oculus/Quest Link and couldn't get it to register my trigger inputs to start. I did take a look around and watched the gameplay video to try and get the best idea I could for the gameplay.

Nice tool! I love that you can use it as a saw, shield, and boomerang! I really really really wanted to cut that rope by the portal.

HTC Vive User here: pretty cool models, where did you get them? Nice that you let us walk trough the scene to explore! Ok how the hell did you do these shield animations!?

Thanks for playing! The shield, portal, powercore, and enemy models are by @drxrobo on Twitter. Met him through a mutual friend. 

The rest of the art assets are from an asset pack I got a little while back.

The shield is animated procedurally. I'm just rotating the shield face by my desired speed, then rotating the smaller gears by the speed x gear ratio. Surprisingly simple to do and the result looks and works better than expected!

Is there any chance you can export me the shield that I can see how you did it in Unity? Jea it looks so amazing! A bit too fast for me, but still nice

Cool!  Very interesting game!  Really dig the whole thing, cute enemies, fun gameplay + I really liked the way you implemented the red on the main camera to show player health.  I was going to do something similar, until I ran out of time lol.
