Pumpkin Guardian turns tragedy into an uplifting story of hope. After Keil dies trying to save his daughter, he’s given a second chance this Halloween night, when the veil between worlds grows thin, to fight for her life and protect the world from Vorak and his corrupted spirits. It’s a story of courage, love, and light rising from darkness.

Nice job! All your asset choices were effective, the SFX in particular. Boy did I struggle with the movement though. WASD would have helped a lot. Spawn in time at the beginning felt a little long too.
Well the plan was to make it WS + mouse controls as means of a different approach. I thought it would make it a bit more challenging too. Also due to lots of testing i got too good at the game and misjudging the difficulty. But I am sure players can adapt to it after a few attempts. But man I guess no ones gonna reach the end boss fight :(

Nice game, but a difficult one for me, I only reached level 3. It takes a while for the enemies to show up for the first time, I felt like that time could be reduced. Two other small comments: the portal integrity health bar looked reversed to me, and the level failed/passed SFX sounded a bit out of place compared to the others (which were great).
Portal integrity is actually that way only it fills up to the max. Difficulty i mean yeah it was quite tough it seems . After all the testing i got too good at it and couldn’t judge the difficulty
that was a good one man IT WAS HARD TO COMPLATE LEVEL T0T but I really love everthing about the game ahhahahahahaha

Wow, great presentation! Just looking at the sprites is fun.
I notice two little flaws that there’s probably time to fix:
The bigger problem, tho I guess it’s by design, WS to move forward and back relative to the mouse is an unusual choice! Usually this kind of game, it’s WASD to move relative to the screen, regardless of the direction you’re facing. I kept wanting A and D to strafe, perpendicular to the facing direction. But not sure if that would make it too easy, or align with your design goals.

1.Just Updated the game with audio levels fixed. Its just my headphones were too loud.
2 . The delay is probably for the heavy spelll which is totally intentional. But I have reduced the spell delay for both and made the game quite fast paced.
3. W,S + mouse movement was my plan the whole time. Just let me know if its too much weird cause for me after playing a bit it feel quite challenging that way. I am sure you will get the hold of it in a few attempts.
