SO FUN! I loved this game the second I started playing. It was just amazing and so creative how you found out how to implement Turn-Based Battling into a side-view fighting game! Loved it. My only suggestion would be to make the wall detection for wall-jumping a bit less...sticky. Since sometimes when I'm on the ground and I just want to jump over a block, It'll make me stick to the side of it instead. Other than that, GREAT game! You could maybe even put it up on Steam if the graphics get improved!  :)

I'm definitely considering improving the graphics and everything and continuing working on it, really glad you liked it! The wall jumping was really finicky to code, and I have a few ideas on how to completely remake that mechanic with less issues, but because it was a jam I had to stick with the less optimal way. Thanks so much for playing!

I enjoyed this fighting game! (Although I didn't have anyone to play with the first time i booted it HAHA, but when we tried it I was really impressed!) Like Unfocused Locust Games mentioned, the controls are very responsive, and it is usually the appeal behind fighting and platforming games, so props to you! My other sentiments have also been mentioned by Unfocused Locust Games too~ Overall I really love this game! Enjoyed the audio as well as the visual style of the whole game! The UI was understandable and clear as well! Good job!

I was definitely worried about the two player aspect, but I ran out of time to implement AI for single player - glad it didn't impede you too much! Glad everything worked well for you - I was a bit worried about the UI, but it's good that it worked! Thanks for playing!

Cool two-player fighting game! I liked the aesthetic, and it was very obvious what everything was. The platforming was also top-notch and very responsive. As for creativity, this was one of the most original games I've seen in a while. As for complaints, I have only a few. There weren't any sound effects to my knowledge, and I don't like how the players lose their weapons when their time is up. Also, there's no "Quit" button, so you have to leave with Alt+F4. Otherwise, this is an excellent fighting game with lots of potential outside of the jam. Oh yeah, and the music is great, too. :D

Really glad you liked it! I was working on a game for the first few days of the jam and had to restart with just a few days left, so sound effects and particle effects were the first things on the chopping block sadly. Really glad you liked it, thanks for playing!
