This was a pretty good experience! The enemies were great, with my favorites being 'land seahorse,' 'disembodied goatee,' and 'molten water monster' - really funny stuff.  It would've been nice to see more challenge in combat, so stuff like a limited time to type the word and a random selection of words so that it was pretty common to miss, making the typing less of a gimmick and more of an actual functional part of the game, beyond just assisting the story where it sits now. I also would've liked to see different color backgrounds and/or differentiating landmarks for different areas, because they're a little difficult to tell apart making it feel like you never progress, but that's a very minor thing. The game was funny and relatively enjoyable to play, great job!

Thanks for the feedback! I had a lot of fun coming up with the wackiest enemies I could think of, so I'm glad they didn't go unnoticed. I had planned to have a bonus in combat for typing the words fast, but that ended up getting scrapped. As for the backgrounds, I made those near the end of the jam, so they are a little rushed. :/

I was just rating SwitchBlades when I saw your notification. It was really fun, and I left a comment for you there. :)
