I love the music, the art, and the sounds, they both added so much to the atmosphere and they transformed okay gameplay into a great experience! I didn't know what my goal was but I loved working towards it, whatever it was.
I'm glad you liked it :D there wasn't really a goal. It was just about jumping around as a little spider 😂
I really like the idea of slingshot and that "sheew" while shooting him. Art is really awesome. Gameplay on the other hand a little dull, i have met almost no obstacles so i just slingshotted my way to the right whole time for few minutes. It'd be nice to have some objective and probably uncentered camera angle when moving towards direction so we can react fast enough to whats coming. Also my pc started heating up but i dunno if it's due to your game. Saying that, i really liked your game!
I agree the gameplay is quite dull. I spent way too much time on the slingshot and the main mechanics and ended up running out of time for tweaking everything else. I had a lot of bugs and had to remake the jumping node to node mechanic multiple times. We wanted to make a fast paced action game but ended up making more of a slow paced adventure/exploration game :D It shouldn't heat up your computer I put some effort in deleting game objects off screen but it might of been caused by the node spawning algorithm which was pretty much brute force lol
I really like the feel to the game, the jungley music and art makes the game feel really good.

I like the graphics, Skippy is really cute! I tried to make more than 4 jumps, but it's really hard for me :D
We where running out of time so didn't tweak the spawning algorithm enough. It's mostly luck based but if you shoot in 45 degree angle up you should land on a leaf. When we tested we usually got around 10 lands.

Thank you for the feedback! The mechanic that applies to the theme is that you have 2 seconds to shoot the spider :D
