Really a good surprise, visually stunning and the audio is good, the atmosphere is great, one of the best trijam games ive played
Wow. I honestly don't know what to say. Amazing.
Game wise, the visuals & audio are fantastic. I couldn't imagine the amount of voice lines you had to record for this game haha. I am interpreting the story in two different ways currently---although both share a similarity. The amount of choices is incredible---I replayed this game a lot of times for more dialogue and story clarity. I would love to see more of the story. This is truly art.
Probably a really small suggestion, but It seems like the player is entering a gate? I feel like there should be a bit of light at the left because in my view I could not see the full gate---however, this is just a really small suggestion based off personal preferences.
good idea with the showing more of the gate! I can only speak on the art/audio side, where it's sitting at about 250 voice lines in this build i believe lol. Glad you enjoyed replaying the game, and for sure more story is to come in the third and final week!
Love the new music. It was fun to play again and explore options I didn't take last week, and unlock new dialogue.
I'm getting a bug where the scroll wheel won't go through options (macbook, chrome). The workaround I found is to click into the game window so it takes the mouse, then hold shift, then press esc to release the mouse, then release shift (which now will not trigger the choice), then the scroll wheel works to select a choice, then press and release shift without touching the mouse.
Sometimes when looping back to the start menu the start button wouldn't work. I think part of the problem might have to do with the game still accepting W/S input after choosing one? I managed to trigger both endings one after another, once.
But fixing these kinds of bugs can take longer than making the game in the first place XD
I hope you'll be back with another update next week.
Thank you so much!! I'll pass on these bugs to my friend as I didnt write any code, so idk how the systems work. The bug with the ending might have been me, as it wasnt fully implemented when i got my hands on it, so i had to bandaid something together to put it out. We will 100% be back next week, I hope you will too!!
