Love the visuals here, especially the archs of missiles trajectory. The little shake after hitting a rocket is a fun (hit -> impact) interaction. I love how the cities "lives" are SHOWN instead of a simple number display or 1hit = game over situation. Just wish there was more variety, because after some time the game seems repetitive. Overall very well made. Had a lot of fun. The project I could learn a lot from :)
This was awesome i’d love to see a post jam version that punishes you for shooting in some way. Good job!
I actually coded an ammo system where you would have to reload, but it wasn't very fun, I think it needed UI to make it more intuitive. I do plan on doing some more work on it, adding more types of cannons, maybe some different types of missiles etc, feel free to follow me if you want a notification 👍
Really enjoyed how effectively everything was communicated in the game field without the need for UI. Really great minimal style as others have said!
See, this is rad! Please Stop Shooting is something between Paratrooper and Missile Command. The game is designed in such a way that nothing runs on too long, action reads clearly and its layered with a nice monochromatic aesthetic and a nice amount of polish. Shooting and aiming are super intuitive and feel great! I’d personally love to see how this looks on a phosphor display!
This is great, very polished, fun and a very creative take on the theme. I love it!
