great idea! visuals are well done. but for me it was just “luck” … 26 keys is just too much to remember in any way (for me).
Thank you for your feedback. During my plays I tried to play step by step instead of memorizing the complete board. So I have to keep your way in mind.
Gameplay : 4/5 - Very original idea. I first though it was too difficult, but if I wait to understand and plan well the moves, it's ok. Just have to wait for the plane incline properly. There must be ways to improve it (beyond the 3 hours of course)
Visual : 5/5 - Rich, colorful. Nice disco universe
Audio: 2/5 - Only music, not even disco ;)
Enjoy: 2/5 - Happy to discover the idea, but got bored waiting for the good plane movement. As a previous reviewer wrote, having an indication of the blocks linked to a key whould be nice, at least at first level. (but it changes the gameplay of planning all moves)
Theme: 3/5 - Ok waiting has a link with patience, but it's not the core of the gameplay
Many thanks. You are right, as music has strong influence on the gamedesign. A post-jam release should have an update on the soundtrack 😉
Really cool idea! I think putting a label on the blocks to show which buttons move them would have made the game more fun to play especially on that last level but I get that might have taken too much time for the scope of 3-4 hours.
Thank you. The decision to leave out any hints on the blocks was done with Intention, so color changes too. And additionally the key mapping is random. Also the board movement was random at the beginning. But that made it to be really really patient
I like the idea. One of the best gameplays on this gamejam. Good work.
Thank you.
