Great game! the voice lines add a special feel to it, i was expecting like a voice line when i got my score to 1000.

Developer

If I get around to doing an update (might be a while as messed build atm) I'll add the Line "A Devine amount of destruction!" just for you!

Wasn't expecting the voice lines and grunts. I enjoyed the art style and other audiovisual aspects. Gameplay wise, I found attacking being a bit clunky, seems the attack isn't a wide sweep as overhead and next to feet enemies aren't hit. Player collision box is also hard to figure out so dodging becomes hard. Cheers

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad that you like the audio and visual style. Yes, the gameplay was buggy; I need to look at how implemented collision detection was because, too many times, it fails to respond to a hit.

It has a good amount of bugs, but the concept is good

Nice pixelart, attacking is a bit hard and I died a lot because of it. Btw beautiful drawing on cover image :D

Thanks for your reply

Sorry about the bugs, some of them I just could not fix in time.

The cover art was done by my partner, ask for it to be cheesy, she excelled herself!

Nice game :) The robots, knight and map tileset worked well together despite being from separate sources. Hitboxes could be improved but the voice lines were great! :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, it was nice to find the tileset that I could use. I was thinking that the tileset 16-bit look might not work, but it does seem to work.

Really cool and impressing game:)

Nice game, some troubles with the hitbox and the game's difficulty but it's well done in only 3 hours! Congrats =)

Developer

Glad that you like the game.

and the game's difficulty?  too hard or too easy? or are we talking about the fact that all robots will get stuck at the spawn point (known bug)

Thanks for the feedback

Submitted(+1)

More about the fact that it's quite easy to get hurt, and since you seem to only be able to attack left & right (not up or down), you have to frequently reposition yourself and try to get around the hordes of creatures, taking lots of damages in the process :/

(Btw your sounds effects are great :d)

I think this could've used some improved UI or menus. The game is pretty fun, but I don't really like the way that attacks are so ineffective. Similar to the game I was making, but my unity kept crashing so I decided not to continue. Also, I like the art and have got to love those voice-acted sound effects!

Developer

I am glad you enjoyed it as best you can.

The game has bugs galore because of the tight time constraint. One was to add cheesy voice lines or a UI menu, the former was chosen because I had been leaning to use AudioMixer recently.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah! I love voice-acted sounds and we always love to learn during jams. Sorry for venting about my game failure on your page.

Classic but effective.

I feel the commands of the player might be more reactive, and the hitboxes more precise

Developer

Spot on about the player's command feedback, several times you see that attack swing will miss when should it should clearly hit, with such a short time I wasn't able to explore the issue.

Thank you for your feedback.

The visual effect is fantistic and sound effect is also interesting.
Enjoy the game haha. :D

Developer

I am glad you like to game, I wanted to put more cheesy voice lines, but time was limited

Submitted(+1)

But it's a nice try and you could do better next time. :D

The whole point of me doing the gamejams is to practice stuff that has been learned in previous weeks and sometimes try new stuff. Does not always work as intended.
