Is it normal that I always die when my score reaches 96?

I think the snowballs are impossible to avoid when they come at the same time as the tree, that's what makes me lose always at the same place.

Anyway good job! I really liked the idea! Hope see your submissions for the next trijams.

As a penguin worshipper, I totally approve this ;) The temperature thing it’s a good idea and I can’t complain about details.

My only concern is about the trees that you have to crouch under. I think fixing its parallax movement and contrast will make it clear that it is an obstacle. Other than that, I think the game is very cute, especially the penguin. Good work on your game!

Fun fantasy and concept,

I am often touched by the balls when I think I ve done well.
Maybe the collision box is a little too big.

Hi! Nice game! I like the heat up mechanic that really brings fun.

I think the game is really too difficult. Obviously it’s not easy to balance the difficulty in less than 3 hours of dev, I’ll still list some changes that would make the game more fair:

  • If the snowballs were at ground level, they would be easier to avoid and it would be clearer that you can’t avoid them by crouching.
  • If the tree trunks were darker and slightly higher it would be more obvious that you have to crouch to avoid them.
  • If clicking on the heat up button did not make the penguin jump it would be possible to heat up and then crouch at the last moment before a tree.
  • Snowballs are impossible to avoid when they arrive at the same time as a tree.
