The mechanic of having a price to enter safe zones is genius and I love it. Really, the whole scoring system is great.

And the title doesn't lie. It certainly was chaotic lol

Great job!

I had a problem with the controls in the web player, the arrows scrolling the window while I was trying to play. Aside from that, I really wanted some kind of visual feedback while I was stunned, it was really confusing at first. I didn't mind how you could get stunlocked though, it was punishing in a fun way, something to try and avoid.

Thanks! Yea, I didn't realize that using the arrows as the controls would cause the window to scroll if not in fullscreen. Definitely gonna stick with WASD or at least give WASD support for games from now on lol. Normally I do, I just ran out of time or forgot lol. I am working on an update to the game that helps give feedback on the stun-state. I lowered the stun time to 1-2 seconds, but the AI movement is still in tact, I believe! Thanks for the feedback!

The red enemies were somewhat frustrating since they repeatedly hit me whilst already stunned.

You could simply add 2 "lives" per stun, or teleport the red away from you on hit, or give a grace period during and briefly after a stun.

Also, some way of showing how long I've got to wait to become unstunned would be nice... Like a loading bar.

Any form of AI is awfully ambitious for a 3hr game, so kudos for adding that and trying something new :)

Thanks! I will definitely keep that in mind! I want to come out with an update after voting ends that addresses some of the issues, or at least minimizes them lol. I play on turning the stun from 5 seconds to 1-2 seconds. I need to figure out some way to stop the red squares from hitting you the whole time. I think the ideas you suggested are great! I just need to see if I can actually figure out how to implement that lol! And yea, I think some indicator for stunning would be great! In the update I am working on, I currently have the screen zoom in during the stun phase. Not sure if I will keep that in or not. I also want to add some music/sound to the game, but have not gotten to that yet. Thanks! I might rework the way the squares move all together, because while it is more random in its movements, that leads to some situations that may not be quite as fun lol.

Thanks for the feedback! :D

You definitely deliver on the chaos part of your title!

The purple enemies seemed a bit glitchy because they were able to push me through walls.

Lol thanks! Yea, this game has a lot more bugs than I would have liked, but I overscoped and implemented like 4 mechanics to this game that I have never done before. 2 of them were really easy to figure out, but AI is not my strongsuit (yet) lol.
